Recruitment Circular 2022 for the post of 'Commissioned Officer' in Bangladesh Navy

Recently, a notification has been issued to recruit manpower for the posts of Acting Instructor Sub-Lieutenant and Acting Sub-Lieutenant in the 2022-B DEO Batch of Direct Commissioned Officers in the Bangladesh Navy. Those interested can apply till November 07, 2021.

1. Engineering and Electrical Branch: Male

Educational Qualification: BSc Engineering in Naval Architecture / Mechanical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Minimum GPA 4.50 in SSC and HSC examinations and CGPA 3.00 in BSc Engineering (4 scale).

Recruitment: After the final nomination, the post of Permanent Commissioned Officer will be appointed as 'Acting Sub Lieutenant'.

Age: Under 28 years on 01 July 2022.

2. Supply branch: male and female

Educational Qualification: Honors in Commerce / Statistics / Economics / Subject or BBA. Minimum GPA 4.50 in SSC and HSC examinations and CGPA 3.00 in BSc Engineering (4 scale).

Recruitment: After the final nomination, the post of Permanent Commissioned Officer will be appointed as 'Acting Sub Lieutenant'.

Age: Under 28 years on 01 July 2022.

2. Education Branch: Male and Female

Educational Qualification: Masters with Bachelor (Honors) in Psychology / Mathematics / English / Chemistry / Physics / Bangla. Minimum GPA 4.00 in SSC and HSC examinations and CGPA 3.00 (on 4 scale) in both undergraduate (honors) and Masters examinations.

Recruitment: After the final nomination, the post of ‘Acting Instructor Sub Lieutenant’ will be appointed for a short term commission of 5 years. Subsequently, on the application of the officer and at the discretion of the authority, promotion / permanent appointment will be given as per the rules.

Age: Under 30 years on 01 July 2022.

Physical Qualifications: Height of male candidate should be 162.5 cm. Or 5 feet 4 inches, weight 50 kg, chest size 6 cm in normal condition. Or 30 cm and 61 cm in the extended state. Or 32 inches. Women's height should be 156.48 cm. Or 5 feet 2 inches, weight 48 kg. Chest size should be 71 cm in normal condition. Or 8 cm in extended condition. Or 30 inches.

Application Process:

Interested candidates should enter the website www.joinnavy.navy.mil.bd and fill up the online admission form and submit it. At the last stage of application, through online banking or mobile banking, an application fee of Rs. 600 / - has to be paid. Immediately after the completion of the application process, the candidates can download and print the call-up-latter, Form Commission-1A and Personal Information Form for the initial interview. Must bring with copy.

Selection process and training

Candidates will be selected through a preliminary health examination and preliminary interview from among the applicants and a written test will be taken on their intelligence and English skills and general knowledge. Primary health examination and preliminary interview will be held at BN College Dhaka from 15th to 18th November 2021 at the mentioned center.

The final recruits will be paid salaries and allowances according to the pay scale in the Armed Forces along with other prescribed benefits. Apart from this, meritorious officers have the opportunity to pursue higher education in various categories at government expense at home and abroad, travel abroad and gain financial resilience in UN peacekeeping missions, cadet colleges for their children on merit basis, Armed Forces Medical College, Military Institute of Science (MIST) and naval theory. সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশ নৌবাহিনীতে সরাসরি কমিশন্ড অফিসার ২০২২-বি ডিইও ব্যাচ ‘অ্যাক্টিং ইন্সট্রাকটর সাব লেফটেন্যান্ট এবং এ্যাক্টিং সাব লেফটেন্যান্ট’ পদে জনবল নিয়োগের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ হয়েছে। আগ্রহীরা আগামী ০৭ নভেম্বর ২০২১ তারিখ পর্যন্ত আবেদন করতে পারবেন।

১.ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ও ইলেকট্রিক্যাল শাখা: পুরুষ

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা: নেভাল আর্কিটেকচার/ মেকানিক্যাল/ ইলেকট্রিক্যাল অ্যান্ড ইলেকট্রনিক্স ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিষয়ে বিএসসি ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং। এসএসসি ও এইচএসসি পরীক্ষায় ন্যূনতম জিপিএ ৪.৫০ এবং বিএসসি ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিংয়ে সিজিপিএ ৩.০০ (৪ স্কেলে)।

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা: মনোবিজ্ঞান/গণিত/ইংরেজি/রসায়ন/পদার্থ/বাংলা বিষয়ে স্নাতক (সম্মান) সহ মাস্টার্স। এসএসসি ও এইচএসসি পরীক্ষায় ন্যূনতম জিপিএ ৪.০০ এবং স্নাতকে (সম্মান) ও মাস্টার্স উভয় পরীক্ষায় সিজিপিএ ৩.০০ (৪ স্কেলে)।

নিয়োগ: চূড়ান্ত মনোনয়ন শেষে ‘এ্যাক্টিং ইন্সট্রাক্টর সাব লেফটেন্যান্ট’ পদে স্বল্প মেয়াদী কমিশনে ৫ বছরের জন্য নিয়োগ করা হবে। পরবর্তীতে অফিসারের আবেদন ও কর্তৃপক্ষের বিবেচনায় বিধি অনুযায়ী চাকুরি বর্ধি/স্থায়ী নিয়োগ প্রদান করা হবে।

বয়স: ০১ জুলাই ২০২২ তারিখে অনুর্ধ্ব ৩০ বছর।

শারীরিক যোগ্যতা : পুরুষ প্রার্থীর উচ্চতা হতে হবে ১৬২.৫ সেমি. বা ৫ ফুট ৪ ইঞ্চি, ওজন ৫০ কেজি, বুকের মাপ স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ৭৬ সেমি. বা ৩০ ইঞ্চি ও সম্প্রসারিত অবস্থায় ৮১ সেমি. বা ৩২ ইঞ্চি। মহিলাদের উচ্চতা হতে হবে ১৫৭.৪৮ সেমি. বা ৫ ফুট ২ ইঞ্চি, ওজন ৪৭ কেজি। বুকের মাপ হতে হবে স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ৭১ সেমি. বা ২৮ ইঞ্চি ও সম্প্রসারিত অবস্থায় ৭৬ সেমি. বা ৩০ ইঞ্চি।

আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া:

আগ্রহী প্রার্থীকে www.joinnavy.navy.mil.bd ওয়েবসাইটে প্রবেশ করে অনলাইনে ভর্তি ফরম পূরণ করে জমা দিতে হবে। আবেদন শেষ পর্যায়ে অনলাইন ব্যাংকিং বা মোবাইল ব্যাংকিং এর মাধ্যমে ৭০০/- টাকা আবেদন ফি প্রদান করতে হবে। আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পর সাথে সাথে প্রার্থীগণকে প্রাথমিক সাক্ষাৎকারের জন্য call-up-latter, Form Commission-1A ও Personal Information Form ডাইনলোড ও প্রিন্ট করে পরবর্তীতে প্রাথমিক সাক্ষাৎকারের সময় সদ্য তোলা এক কপি পাসপোর্ট সাইজের ছবি, শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতার সব সনদ, নাগরিকত্ব ও চারিত্রিক সনদের কপি সঙ্গে আনতে হবে।

নির্বাচন-প্রক্রিয়া ও প্রশিক্ষণ

আবেদনকৃত প্রার্থীদের মধ্য থেকে প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা ও প্রাথমিক সাক্ষাৎকারের মাধ্যমে প্রাথমিকভাবে প্রার্থী বাছাই করে তাঁদের বুদ্ধিমত্তা এবং ইংরেজি দক্ষতা ও সাধারণ জ্ঞান বিষয়ে লিখিত পরীক্ষা নেওয়া হবে। প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা ও প্রাথমিক সাক্ষাৎকার বিএন কলেজ ঢাকায় আগামী ১৫ থেকে ১৮ নভেম্বর ২০২১ তারিখে উল্লিখিত কেন্দ্রে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
